Elem, pronađem prodavnicu u kojoj se može platiti bez korišćenja PayPal-a, koja nudi pristojne cene poštarine i koja šalje robu u Srbiju. Ne verujete da takvo šta postoji? Nisam ni ja, pet puta sam proveravala da li dobro vidim. Onlajn prodavnica se zove Scandinavian Knitting Design, nalaze se u Velikoj Britaniji i specijalizovani su za prodaju skandinavskog prediva, paterna i dodatne opreme. Ali to nije sve. Neverovatno su ljubazni i spremni da pomognu (što mi je bilo potrebno pošto sajt koji koriste za plaćanje nije imao Srbiju na spisku zemalja pa smo se za to zajednički izborili) tako da ih toplo preporučujem. I tako, nakon 11 dugih dana, Eskimo je stigao :) Mojoj sreći nema kraja. Hvala SKD-u!
For quite a while I have had my eye on this bag by Drops. The yarn I had in mind was Unitas's Marija, the one I used for these mittens and this chunky scarf. But then, to my horror, it was out of stock in my local yarn store and they couldn't tell me when and if they were going to have it again. Sick of similar experiences in Serbian shops where reliability and professionalism are as rare as a winning lottery ticket, I decided to treat myself to the yarn required by the pattern. I've never knit anything with the yarn called for by the original pattern (for reasons too well-known to all of you from this part of the world) and I was really excited about the prospect of getting the Drops Eskimo :) I actually managed to find a shop that accepts non-PayPal payments and has decent shipping rates and includes Serbia in the list of countries. I'm sure you think that's impossible to find. Yes, I know, I had to double check too as I couldn't believe my eyes: all three criteria fulfilled?! Yes! The shop's name is Scandinavian Knitting Designs. They are based in the UK and they specialize in Scandinavian yarns, patterns and accessories. But that's not all. They are very kind and generous and willing to help. Eleven (long) days later my Drops Eskimo arrived :))) I won't be able to get a grin off my face today. Thank you, SKD!
